SANTA MONICA, CA (REIT Media) March 7, 2008 - Douglas Emmett, Inc. (NYSE:DEI), a real estate investment trust (REIT), announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.1875 per share, representing a 7.1% increase over the dividend paid in the prior quarter. The dividend is payable on April 15, 2008 to shareholders of record as of March 31, 2008. On an annualized basis, this represents a dividend of $0.75 per common share.

In addition, Douglas Emmett’s Board of Directors has scheduled its Annual Meeting of Shareholders for Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. (Pacific Time) at The Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, located at 1700 Ocean Avenue, Santa Monica, California 90401. Shareholders of record as of April 3, 2008 will be entitled to vote at the meeting.
