NEWTON, MA (REIT Media) April 29, 2008 - Hospitality Properties Trust (NYSE: HPT) today announced that it will host a conference call in conjunction with the announcement of its first quarter 2008 financial results.

HPT plans to issue a press release containing its first quarter results before the NYSE opens on Tuesday, May 6, 2008. Later that day at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time, John Murray, President and Chief Operating Officer, and Mark Kleifges, Chief Financial Officer, will host a conference call to discuss the first quarter results. Following the company’s remarks, there will be a short question and answer period.
