Rayonier Names Hood Vice President, Corporate Affairs 
JACKSONVILLE, FL (REIT Media) July 10, 2007 - Rayonier (NYSE:RYN) said today that Charles H. Hood, 56, has joined the company as Vice President, Corporate Affairs, reporting to Lee M. Thomas, Chairman, President and CEO. He succeeds Jay A. Fredericksen who previously announced his plans to retire September 30, 2007, at age 62, after 30 years with Rayonier.
Hood will have responsibility for government affairs, corporate communications, community relations, media relations and The Rayonier Foundation.
Previously, Hood was with Georgia-Pacific for 23 years and most recently was Vice President, Government Affairs, with responsibility company-wide for state and federal government relations and issues management.
