Crescent Celebrates Greenway Plaza's 40th Anniversary by Honoring Customer Loyalty 
HOUSTON, TX (REIT Media) June 8, 2007 - Last evening, Crescent Real Estate Equities Company (NYSE:CEI) honored Greenway Plaza's long-term customers in A Salute to Longevity reception held at the Renaissance Houston Hotel. The evening celebrated the strong relationships Crescent has built over the years with over 60 companies who have been customers at the development for 15 years or more.
Greenway Plaza, a vision of the late Kenneth L. Schnitzer, is the first totally planned mixed-use development in Houston. It was Mr. Schnitzer's dream to develop a "completely self contained work-live-play" atmosphere. At Greenway Plaza, customers have recognized Crescent's award-winning customer service year after year. Over 37 percent of the complex's 4.2 million square feet have chosen to remain at the complex for 15 years or more.
The ceremony was marked by shared memories of Greenway Plaza's inception followed by presentations to the honorees recognizing the long-term valued relationships built over the years. Companies occupying the property for 30+ years included: I.A. Naman + Associates, Inc.; River Oaks Flower House; PEPI Corporation dba Alonti Deli & Catering; M.Foster Jewelers fka Plaza Jewelers; and Weinstein Spira & Company, all of who received a Waterford crystal bowl. In particular, I.A. Naman + Associates, Inc. has been a part of the Greenway Plaza development as one of the original electrical-mechanical engineering firms since the property's inception. The firm subsequently moved in when the first buildings were completed in 1969, making them the development's most tenured customer.
