Taubman Centers Previews More Retailers, Eateries Signed To Open at the Mall at Partridge Creek

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI (REIT Media) July 9, 2007 - Taubman Centers Inc. (NYSE:TCO) today announced more than two dozen additional retailers signed to open at The Mall at Partridge Creek in Clinton Township, Mich. The open-air shopping center - anchored by Nordstrom, Parisian and MJR Cinema 14 - will debut Oct. 18, 2007.

Nearly half of the just-announced stores and eateries will be unique to Macomb County, and six of them will be Michigan firsts.

New to the Market

Partridge Creek will be the first Michigan location for a number of retail standouts. Sur La Table, an in-demand national retailer offers more than 10,000 culinary items, from essentials for every kitchen to hard-to-find specialty tools, such as truffle shavers, duck presses and 30 styles of rolling pins. In addition, one of the country's first freestanding Calvin Klein stores has chosen The Mall at Partridge Creek for its Michigan debut. The store showcases the full range of Calvin Klein's men's and women's better apparel and accessories.

Also opening in Michigan for the first time will be The Territory Ahead, a Santa Barbara-based retailer that designs and develops its own active lifestyle line of casual, comfortable men's and women's apparel and accessories; Pizza Rustica, offering quick-service gourmet pizza whole or by the slice - with organic, whole wheat crust as an option - and a create-your- own salad; Cacique, plus-sized intimate apparel; and Shi by Journeys, a new fashion-forward footwear and fashion accessories concept for women in their mid 20s to early 30s from popular shoe retailer Journeys.

Two other retailers yet to enter the Michigan market have chosen The Mall at Partridge Creek for their first Macomb County locations. Moonstruck Chocolate Cafe, whose only other Michigan Cafe opens in September at Taubman's Twelve Oaks Mall, offers a full line of handmade, hand-packaged artisan chocolates and chocolate drinks made from the Portland, Oregon company's signature chocolate blend. For Love 21, a fashionable all-accessories store from the Forever 21 chain, will venture into Michigan for the first time at Taubman's Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills and Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi this fall just before opening at The Mall at Partridge Creek.

Additional Macomb County firsts include BEBE SPORT, fusing the sexy and sophisticated bebe fashion statement with active-inspired street wear and performance apparel; Illuminations, offering premium candles, candle accessories and home decorating solutions; and Stephen James Aveda Salon/Spa, a full-service salon, spa and retail store featuring Aveda plant-based beauty products.

The new shopping center will also host Macomb County's only Nine West, nationally recognized for its fashion-forward women's footwear and accessories.
