NEWTON, MA (REIT Media) April 8, 2008 - HRPT Properties Trust (NYSE: HRP) today announced that it has launched a new website for its Diamond Head Self Storage business located on Oahu, HI at www.diamondheadselfstorage.com. The website helps users determine the amount of storage space they need, highlights services the facility offers, and lists promotions and specials.

HRP constructed the $17 million self storage facility last year on a one acre parcel of land which HRP acquired as part of the Damon Estate acquisition in 2003. The facility is strategically located between downtown Honolulu and the Honolulu International Airport with building signage visible from the North Nimitz Highway and H-1 Freeway. The facility is also in close proximity to several U.S. military installations.
